To convert to DDS I use my script below, the minimum required programs is ImageMagick. Just keep in mind that if you are going for a 100% 'authentic' look, some of my textures do not match the originals. Plus it would just make it easier on users in the long run to not have to install two different packs on top of each other. I linked the PNG files so you can have the best quality versions that do no conflict with your own textures, to avoid two file names that are the same (except one is PNG and one is DDS). You can include my entire pack in yours if you wanted to.
You don't have to use them if you don't want to, I just wanted to say you have my full permission to include any textures from my pack in yours.
